A pivot window is a modern engineering solution where the movable part of the window is fixed not by traditional side hinges, but by an axial mechanism integrated into the frame. This system allows for the production of large, heavy stained glass structures, where the load is evenly distributed on the axial support, which eliminates the window from "hanging" and deformation over time.
The window rotates around its own axis (horizontally or vertically). When opened, one part of the window protrudes onto the facade of the building, while the other part enters the interior.
